Chief Executive Officer - Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community
Deffet Group, Inc. is pleased to have been retained by Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community to conduct an executive search for a Chief Executive Officer.
Still Hopes is a mission-based Life Plan Community focused on providing an active lifestyle and related services for seniors in West Columbia, South Carolina. The only Episcopal-sponsored not-for-profit LPC/CCRC in the region, Still Hopes is nestled on 44 wooded acres, creating a gorgeous backdrop for engaged and independent senior living. The organization has embraced continuous growth throughout its history and today, almost 700 team members support approximately 500 residents and 65 clients in the community.
Still Hopes is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the community in meeting the needs of the next generation. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, this individual will be a hands-on, articulate leader with a deep passion for senior living and proven ability in developing and implementing strategic plans.
The successful candidate for this position will have a bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Health Care Administration, Business Management or related field (master’s degree preferred) and ideally, a minimum of five years’ senior management experience in an LPC/CCRC or similar environment. Our finalist will demonstrate experience leading process improvement, have a track record of customer satisfaction and a desire to coach and mentor team members, and possess excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. They will have the ability to understand and react effectively to the needs of Still Hopes staff, residents and families and all others who have an interest in Still Hopes.
