Duties

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
• Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and quality standards
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and home care strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote health and wellness.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in home community care, pediatrics, orthopedics, or outpatient settings is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and therapy team members.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and techniques, including inpatient care approaches.
