Your role in helping us shape the future: Approximately 10 million people come to U.S. News Health each month, most of them seeking guidance on choosing the best healthcare options for themselves or their loved ones. In our senior living segment, our Best Senior Living, Best Nursing Homes and Best Insurance Companies for Medicare Advantage ratings help families navigate complicated decisions about how to plan, pay for and choose care and lifestyle services. We are looking for a dynamic and data-savvy Product Manager to help us build best-in-class consumer decision support tools, drive audience growth and optimize lead generation funnels. This role is critical to expanding our user base, improving acquisition, and driving measurable business value through experimentation, user-centric design, and collaboration across teams. The Product Manager will work cross-functionally with editorial, engineering, data, and design teams to build products and features that attract new users, build ongoing engagement, and help families connect to resources and providers that meet their needs. Requirements
You should definitely have:

Three years to five years of product management experience, preferably in healthcare, senior care or multisided marketplaces.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Proven track record of driving user acquisition, engagement and satisfaction through product-led growth.

Understanding of SEO, content discovery, and distribution strategies.

Strong analytical skills and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics.

Experience with agile product development methodologies and tools.
It would be nice if you had:
-
Experience building interactive data visualizations using platforms such as Tableau or Flourish, or building tailor-made visualizations using HTML, CSS and JS.

Experience with data analysis software, particularly writing analytics code in Python using platforms such as Jupyter or Google Colab, and libraries such as Pandas – or similar technologies.

Familiarity with data formats beyond spreadsheets.

Familiarity with creating and querying (SQL) relational databases.

Familiarity with content management systems and web production.

Familiarity with survey design and sample size evaluation.

The base salary for this position is $70,000 to $100,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, interview performance, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
