Clinic Hours:
- Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
As a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant or Technician, you'll work 33+ hours per week (66+ hours per bi-weekly pay period) and be a core member of our medical team. Your role will include hands-on patient care, client interaction, and clinical support for our doctors and fellow team members.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, procedures, and diagnostics
- Collect samples for lab testing (blood, fecal, urine, etc.)
- Administer medications (oral, topical, injections) under supervision
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas
Patient Care:
- Safely handle and restrain pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Monitor patients pre- and post-operatively
- Provide post-treatment care and support recovery
- Accurately document patient charts and medical records
Client Interaction:
- Greet and assist clients during check-in and discharge
- Educate clients on at-home care, medications, and follow-up needs
- Help create a welcoming, professional, and supportive experience
- Relay patient updates to clients with clarity and compassion
Administrative Support:
- Assist with appointment scheduling and patient flow
- Process client payments and help maintain financial records
- Help maintain inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Support general clinic cleanliness and compliance with protocols
What We're Looking For
Experience & Education:
- Previous experience in a veterinary assistant or technician role required
- Familiarity with veterinary software, terminology, and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Veterinary Assistant Certification (CVA) or Veterinary Technician degree is a plus, but not required
Skills & Attributes:

This is a full-time position, requiring 33+ hours per week (or 66+ hours per pay period). You'll have a consistent schedule with flexibility to adjust based on clinic needs.
