Mease Manor senior living community in Dunedin, Florida is a CCRC where you will find spacious apartment homes – each one with its own large, private balcony – along with a list of services, amenities and conveniences, and friendly, engaged people.
Mease Manor is a community within a community – all of our 200 apartment homes are within easy strolling distance from the scenic waterfront and historic downtown Dunedin, beloved for its laid-back vibe, shops, eclectic boutiques, fine restaurants and safe, walk able streets. The 40-mile Pinellas Trail bisects Main Street. And just off Dunedin’s coast you’ll find two world-class beaches, Honeymoon and Caladesi islands.
Our extensive campus has it all – independent living, as well as assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care and short-term rehab – available here, all provided by a name that has been recognized for over 53 years.
Company History
In the early 1960s, Dr. John A. Mease proposed the idea of building an innovative retirement community in Dunedin, Florida. He envisioned a community where Clearwater-area’s older adults could unburden themselves from the responsibilities of home ownership and enjoy an independent lifestyle, knowing they’d have care available should they ever need it.
More than a half-century has passed since Dr. Mease’s vision became reality — and today more than 350 people from across the country call Mease Manor home. They consider our community an attractive choice because of our independent lifestyle, our location and our not-for-profit status, which ensures our profits go back into our community, not to shareholders.
They’re also drawn to us because they know if they ever need assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care or short-term care, it’s available to them, right on our campus. People who choose our community appreciate the peace of mind in knowing one move gives them the independent lifestyle they want today, with access to the care they may need someday.
Mease Manor Foundation
One of the ways we’re able to further Dr. Mease’s vision is through our Foundation. Contributions made to our Foundation fund by generous donors help us to ensure residents who outlive their financial resources will not have to leave Mease Manor.
